Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a fantastic location overlooking the marina, making it peaceful and easily accessible to various eateries and attractions in Ucluelet. My room was clean with a nice balcony, and while it suited my needs, the reception staff could have been more welcoming. The pricing felt a bit high for the overall experience, especially considering the issues with the shared spaces. Overall, I would recommend it for a west coast escape, but there are areas that could use improvement.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, enjoying incredible views of the marina and mountains. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and clean, allowing for a truly comfortable experience. The location was perfect for exploring Ucluelet and Tofino, but we did notice that the walls were a bit thin, which could be a concern for light sleepers. Overall, great value for money!
Our stay was quite a mix of experiences, from a decent room with a lovely view of the harbor to some significant downsides regarding service and pricing. The room was spacious, with two queen beds and an additional loft, which was nice, but we faced several inconveniences during our time here. While the staff seemed to try their best, we were disappointed with the lack of basic amenities and upkeep.
The lodge is ideally situated on the marina in Ucluelet, which allows for easy access to downtown and some lovely walking trails. While the views from the veranda are beautiful, the rooms lack modern updates and can be noisy, especially on busy weekends. Additionally, the prices feel steep for the quality offered, making it a mixed bag of a stay.
My stay was quite disappointing due to several issues. While the exterior location was charming, the room was poorly maintained and the extra fees made it hard to enjoy. A couple of positives include a lovely bathroom and a decent response from the staff, but the overall experience left much to be desired. I'd hesitate to recommend this hotel for the price paid, as it didn't live up to expectations.
