6.8/10

The hotel has a fantastic location overlooking the marina, making it peaceful and easily accessible to various eateries and attractions in Ucluelet. My room was clean with a nice balcony, and while it suited my needs, the reception staff could have been more welcoming. The pricing felt a bit high for the overall experience, especially considering the issues with the shared spaces. Overall, I would recommend it for a west coast escape, but there are areas that could use improvement.

My room was clean and had a nice balcony, but the bathroom was quite small. It was adequate for my needs, although I wouldn't say it provided great value considering the price.

While some staff members were quite helpful, the front desk staff seemed a bit dismissive during check-in and checkout.

While the facilities were satisfactory overall, the outdoor chairs could really use a good cleaning to feel more inviting.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, enjoying incredible views of the marina and mountains. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and clean, allowing for a truly comfortable experience. The location was perfect for exploring Ucluelet and Tofino, but we did notice that the walls were a bit thin, which could be a concern for light sleepers. Overall, great value for money!

5.4/10

Our stay was quite a mix of experiences, from a decent room with a lovely view of the harbor to some significant downsides regarding service and pricing. The room was spacious, with two queen beds and an additional loft, which was nice, but we faced several inconveniences during our time here. While the staff seemed to try their best, we were disappointed with the lack of basic amenities and upkeep.

Rooms
6.0
The room we had was spacious and had a nice view of the harbor, but it felt outdated in some areas. There were no towel bars and no closet for clothes, which was inconvenient.
Service
5.0
The staff attempted to be helpful, particularly with luggage assistance, but the service was inconsistent and we faced communication issues, especially during check-in.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated right in a quaint harbor, not far from local cafes and eateries, which was quite appealing. However, parking was an inconvenience as the area felt a bit crowded.
Dining
5.0
There was no breakfast included, and the dining options felt limited, so we chose to eat out.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities could use improvement; we noted the absence of an elevator and the communal areas didn't seem well-maintained, which wasn't ideal.

5.6/10

The lodge is ideally situated on the marina in Ucluelet, which allows for easy access to downtown and some lovely walking trails. While the views from the veranda are beautiful, the rooms lack modern updates and can be noisy, especially on busy weekends. Additionally, the prices feel steep for the quality offered, making it a mixed bag of a stay.

Rooms
5.0
The room we were upgraded to had a nice view but felt quite dated, with worn carpet and haphazard decor. It lacked certain amenities like functional TV and proper seating, making it a bit uncomfortable compared to other stays.
Service
5.0
Upon arrival, service was disappointing, but they were willing to accommodate us with an upgrade after we expressed our concerns about noise.
Location
9.0
Featuring a great location right on the marina, you can soak in beautiful views and enjoy the vibrant activity of the area, making it a noteworthy advantage of this lodge.
Dining
5.0
The lodge offers a communal kitchen for those looking to prepare their meals, but there are no dining options included with the stay.
Facilities
5.0
The main draw is the communal kitchen, but the overall facilities need improvements both in upkeep and options available for guests.

5.0/10

My stay was quite disappointing due to several issues. While the exterior location was charming, the room was poorly maintained and the extra fees made it hard to enjoy. A couple of positives include a lovely bathroom and a decent response from the staff, but the overall experience left much to be desired. I'd hesitate to recommend this hotel for the price paid, as it didn't live up to expectations.

Rooms
5.0
The room we were given was not cleaned properly and felt quite dated, though the bathroom was lovely.
Service
5.0
The staff did respond to our issues, but overall the service was lacking due to the miscommunication on fees and the initial room condition.
Location

The hotel is located right by the marina in Ucluelet, which is a quaint spot that offers beautiful views.
Dining
Facilities

Facilities were very basic and in need of maintenance, with a rickety exterior that didn’t match the price we paid.
